Kaidou Takashi is the biological father of Haru, Aki and Shima. He was married with Haruko Daniela Dieckmann and had Haru as their son. Unfortunately when Haru was still young he and Haruko had a divorce. Haru stayed with Haruko in Alberta, Canada until the age of eight where moved in with Takashi and his new wife and two sons, Aki and Shima.
During ride back home after picking up Haru from the airport they get into a car accident where Takashi along with his wife, Ruri tragically died.
